With a little planning ahead, you can have a taxi ready and waiting for you when you are ready to leave one destination and travel to another. While taxis might cost more than you would pay to take public transportation, the convenience of traveling by taxi can make the extra cost worth it.
When you get to travel on vacation, time can become a valuable commodity. Any time you spend in a city while on vacation might be the only time you spend there. Rather than spend priceless hours traveling by public transportation, and rather than miss a play or some other exhibition because your bus got delayed, you should consider taking taxis to get you where you need to go.
